Another successful trout release!

We scored in a big way regarding the weather and releasing our trout. We were treated to mostly sunny skies and mild weather at the nearby private pond where we release our trout each year. As we have in the past, we raised approximately 1,000 unfed rainbow trout fry. Along the way our students have been learning about food chains, food webs, the salmon life cycle, and fish anatomy and systems. Below are some video clips and pics of our experience. Enjoy!

OAKS Assessment Dates

old oakHere are the OAKS testing dates for reading and math in grades 4/5. Please make every effort for your child to be present for testing to avoid having to make up tests during regularly scheduled instructional time. Also, for a successful testing experience, plan ahead so that your child gets plenty of sleep and a good breakfast. Thanks. If you have questions, contact Mr. Evers or Mrs. Reed.
